The neighbourhood of Cataraqui North is part of the city of Kingston, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Kingston metropolitan area.


Cataraqui North is an extraordinarily good part of Kingston for driving. It is very easy to access a parking spot, and many homes for sale are a reasonably short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Highway 401. In contrast, this part of Kingston is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most residences. Walking is not very practical for house buyers in Cataraqui North because few common errands can be run on foot.


Families will find that wherever their home is situated in Cataraqui North, primary schools and daycares are close by. On the other hand, this part of the city does not have any high schools. With regards to food, some, but not all, house buyers in Cataraqui North will reside within walking distance of the closest supermarket. A limited variety of restaurants and cafes can be found as well.
