4100 is especially car friendly. Parking is quite easy. On the other hand, 4100 is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines. 4100 is not very conducive to biking as 4100 has a rather limited bicycling infrastructure, and the terrain is not particularly flat. Walking is also not very feasible for residents in 4100 as almost no common errands can be run without the use of a vehicle.


In all cases, a vehicle is needed in this neighbourhood to reach the closest grocery store. There are a few choices for those who value restaurants in close proximity. With respect to education, there are only a few primary schools in 4100 and therefore they can be a long walk away. Moreover, 4100 does not have any high schools. Likewise, it can be very difficult to reach daycares as a pedestrian.


4100 is good for those who prefer quiet areas, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue - although that is not the case near the airport (YHM). Parks are sparse, which results in them being rather challenging to reach from the majority of locations in the neighbourhood. Despite that, there are a few green spaces close by for residents to visit.

Single detached homes and townhouses are the main housing type in this neighbourhood. Roughly 95% of the properties in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners while the rest are rented.
