It is convenient for pedestrians to get around in Downtown; running daily errands is easy by walking. Commuting by public transit is at times challenging in this area. Nonetheless, there is the Guelph Central Station with access to the Kitchener Line. There are approximately 10 bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and the closest bus stop is typically just around the corner. However, driving is often the best means of transportation in Downtown. It is a rather short drive to the nearest highway from any location in Downtown, and it is convenient to come across a place to park.


The nearest supermarket in Downtown is usually only a reasonably short walk away. Moreover, this part of Guelph is a good place in which to eat out, and residents benefit from a few cafes as well.
