Part of the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area, Nassagaweya is a neighbourhood within Milton, Ontario.


Driving is very often the favoured approach to move around in Nassagaweya. It is especially convenient to come across a place to park. Travelling on foot is not very practical for residents in this part of Milton since many daily needs are very impractical to meet by walking. Nassagaweya is also not very amenable to biking as cyclists encounter a significant amount of elevation changes, and the cycling network is not very extensive.


Primary schools are not abundant in Nassagaweya, and accordingly often beyond walking distance, and there are no high schools. Moreover, families may find it very hard for their children to reach daycares on foot. With respect to food, shopping for one's groceries very often necessitates the use of a vehicle in this part of the town.


Nassagaweya is reasonably quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour - although there are still several noisier sections, especially closer to Highway 401 or one of the railway lines. Parks are sparse, which makes them very difficult to access. Still, there are a few green spaces close by for residents to check out.
