The neighbourhood of Highway 427 Industrial is part of the city of Brampton, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.


The preferred way to navigate Highway 427 Industrial is usually driving. Parking is easy. In contrast, Highway 427 Industrial is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not especially far away from most houses. It is challenging to move around by bicycle in this part of the city as there are a fair number of elevation changes for cyclists to brave, and there are few bike lanes. A majority of the homes for sale in this part of Brampton are located in places that are also not very well-suited for those who travel by foot since running common errands is impractical by walking.


There are no high schools and no primary schools in this part of the city. Furthermore, parents may find it challenging for their children to reach daycares as a pedestrian. As far as eating is concerned, in all but a very small number of cases, a vehicle is required to shop for groceries.

Roughly 70% of the units in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners while the remainder are rented. Single detached homes and townhouses are the main housing type in this part of Brampton. A majority of the housing growth in this neighbourhood occurred between 1960 and 1980. There is a higher proportion of four or more bedroom homes in this area.
