The neighbourhood of Town Centre can be found in the city of Maple Ridge, British Columbia, which is situated in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.


Town Centre is a fairly pleasant part of Maple Ridge for pedestrians; many common errands can be run on foot. On the other hand, bicycling is occasionally difficult in Town Centre because the cycling infrastructure is not particularly comprehensive, and riding is rendered difficult by the often hilly area. Driving is a reasonably good means of transportation in this part of Maple Ridge. It is easy to park, and many properties for sale are a reasonably short drive from the closest highway. In contrast, public transit riders may have few choices in Town Centre as a result of the infrequent service. Thankfully, train stations, including the Port Haney Station on the Wce | West Coast Express, are typically within walking distance from most properties in the neighbourhood. House owners benefit from around 10 bus lines, and the closest bus stop is usually very close.


It is usually possible for property owners in Town Centre to do their groceries by walking. Furthermore, Town Centre is a fairly good place in which to go out to eat or go to a cafe. It is also easy to access a variety of clothing stores on foot. Regarding education, families will welcome that wherever their home is located in Town Centre, schools and daycares are nearby.


Town Centre is a fairly good neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a calm environment. The noise levels in this area are reasonably low, as the streets are usually quite peaceful - although there are still several noisier sections, especially around the railway line. Finally, it is easy to access parks from most locations in the neighbourhood since there are about 10 of them nearby for residents to discover.


In Town Centre, about half of dwellings are small apartment buildings, but large apartment buildings are also present in the housing stock. There is a higher proportion of two bedroom homes in this part of Maple Ridge. About 60% of the population of this neighbourhood own their home and the remainder are renters. The homes in this neighbourhood are very new, because around one third of its dwellings were built after the year 2000, while many of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 1960s and the 1980s.
