The neighbourhood of Mount Dufferin can be found in the city of Kamloops, British Columbia, which is located in the Greater Kamloops metropolitan area.


Cars are an excellent medium of transportation in this neighbourhood. The majority of properties for sale are a reasonably short car ride from the closest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway, and it is very convenient to park. On the other hand, the public transit service in this area is not very frequent. Nonetheless, property owners benefit from a few bus lines, and it is convenient to find a nearby bus stop from most houses. It is challenging for people walking to move around in Mount Dufferin as very few common errands can be run without needing to use a car.


Some, but not all, house buyers in this area will live within walking distance of the closest supermarket. A limited selection of restaurants and cafes is available as well. When it comes to education, there are only a few primary schools in this part of the city and consequently they can be a rather long walk away. Furthermore, this part of the city does not have any high schools. Moreover, it can be difficult to access daycares on foot.


There are a lot of green spaces to enjoy in Mount Dufferin. There are a few public green spaces nearby for residents to discover, which results in them being easy to reach from most locations within the neighbourhood. As there are very few pedestrians, this area is relatively serene.
