The neighbourhood of Pemberton Heights is part of the municipality of District of North Vancouver, British Columbia, which is located in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.


Pemberton Heights is conducive to those who travel by foot; many common errands can be run without the use of a car, and a variety of businesses are reasonably close by. On the other hand, cycling is very difficult in this area because travelling by bike is made strenuous by the often sloping terrain, and the cycling network is quite poor. The public transit service in this part of the municipality is not very frequent. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. However, Pemberton Heights is an extremely convenient part of District of North Vancouver for travelling by car. Nearby highways, such as Trans-Canada Highway, are very easy to access from any home in Pemberton Heights, and it is straightforward to find a place to park.


It is typically possible for property owners in Pemberton Heights to shop for general and specialty groceries on foot. Additionally, a restaurant is often just around the corner. As far as education is concerned, in Pemberton Heights, families will typically be able to reach primary schools and daycares on foot. In contrast, this part of District of North Vancouver does not contain any high schools.


The character of Pemberton Heights is exemplified by its calm ambience. There are a few public green spaces nearby for residents to visit and they are very well-distributed, making it very easy to reach them from a lot of locations in the neighbourhood. This part of the municipality is also reasonably quiet, as there are low levels of noise from traffic - however some areas can be quite noisy, especially close to Trans-Canada Highway.

This neighbourhood has a good variety of housing sizes, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms.
