The neighbourhood of Westwood Plateau is part of the city of Coquitlam, British Columbia, which is situated in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is usually the best transportation option in Westwood Plateau. It is very convenient to find a parking spot. On the other hand, the public transit network in Westwood Plateau is not very practical. Thankfully, house owners benefit from a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is typically close by. It is impractical for people walking to navigate this part of the city since meeting daily needs is difficult. This neighbourhood is also not very bicycling-friendly because bicycle riders are faced with a significant amount of slopes, and the cycling network is fairly poor.

Services

It is a reasonably short walk to get to daycares and primary schools from anywhere in Westwood Plateau. In contrast, it can be difficult to reach high schools as a pedestrian. As far as food is concerned, reaching the closest supermarket by walking is an option for some, but not all, house buyers in this part of the city. There are also a few choices for those who value close by restaurants and cafes.

Character

Home buyers who prefer a calm atmosphere will enjoy Westwood Plateau.
