Part of the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, Lynnmour North is a neighbourhood within District of North Vancouver, British Columbia.


The best method to get around in Lynnmour North is usually driving. It is especially convenient to access a place to park, and many properties for sale are a reasonably short drive from the closest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway. In contrast, travelling by public transit is sometimes challenging in Lynnmour North. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are typically close by. Travelling on foot is not very practical for property owners in Lynnmour North as few daily needs can be met on foot. This neighbourhood is also not very suited for bicycling as bike riders encounter a considerable amount of slopes, and the cycling network is not very well-developed.


The closest supermarket in Lynnmour North is typically only a rather short walk away. A small number of restaurants and cafes are available as well. In terms of education, families will welcome that wherever their property is located in Lynnmour North, daycares are close by. On the other hand, there are only a limited number of primary schools in this neighbourhood and thus they can be an extended walk away. Additionally, Lynnmour North does not have any high schools.


Lynnmour North is a reasonably good neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a slower-paced atmosphere. There are a few parks nearby for residents to discover, including Greenbelt and Seymour River Heritage Park, and they are very well-situated, making them very easy to access. This area is also quiet, as the streets tend to be calm - although there are still several louder sections, especially close to Trans-Canada Highway.


Most of the housing growth in Lynnmour North occurred in the 1960s and 1970s. In this area, most buildings are townhouses, and the remaining houses are mainly small apartment buildings. Around 85% of the units in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and 15% are rented. This neighbourhood is primarily composed of three bedroom and two bedroom homes.
