Located within the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, Lynnmour North is a neighbourhood in District of North Vancouver, British Columbia.


Cars are a great transportation option in Lynnmour North. It is a reasonably short drive to the closest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway, from anywhere in this neighbourhood, and it is very easy to park. In contrast, the public transit service in Lynnmour North is not especially frequent. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is typically close by. Travelling on foot is not very feasible for home buyers in Lynnmour North as running common errands is occasionally difficult. The bicycle is a rather limited mode of transportation in Lynnmour North since there is a significant amount of hills, and the bicycling infrastructure is quite poor.


There are only a limited number of primary schools in this area and thus they can be a long walk away. Additionally, this part of District of North Vancouver does not contain any high schools. This area is fairly good for those who like a quiet atmosphere, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour - although that is not the case around Trans-Canada Highway. Lastly, accessing public green spaces is very easy in the neighbourhood, since there are a few of them nearby for residents to check out and reaching the closest park is easy from the majority of properties.


About 85% of the population of this neighbourhood own their home and renters make up the remainder. In this part of District of North Vancouver, roughly half of dwellings are townhouses, but small apartment buildings are also present in the housing stock. Most homes in this area were built in the 1960s and 1970s, during its biggest construction boom. This neighbourhood has a good choice of housing size options, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms.
