The neighbourhood of Deep Cove can be found in the municipality of District of North Vancouver, British Columbia, which is situated in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.


Moving around by car is straightforward in Deep Cove. It is very easy to park. However, this neighbourhood is not an especially pleasant part of District of North Vancouver for travelling by public transit. Thankfully, house owners have access to a few bus lines, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. A majority of the homes for sale in this part of District of North Vancouver are located in places that are not very well-suited for walking because running daily errands is impractical. Deep Cove is also not very bicycling-friendly as there are quite a few elevation changes, and there are few bike lanes.


It is very rarely possible for home buyers in this area to do their groceries by walking. Nonetheless, getting to the nearest pharmacy and consequently some basic food items is generally straightforward. There are also a limited number of options for those who appreciate nearby restaurants and cafes. When it comes to education, it is a reasonably short walk to reach daycares and schools from most properties for sale in Deep Cove.


Home buyers who prefer a slower-paced atmosphere will enjoy Deep Cove. There are about 10 parks nearby for residents to check out, which results in them being very easy to get to from most locations in the neighbourhood. This area is also especially quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.


In Deep Cove, roughly 45% of dwellings are single detached homes, while small apartment buildings, duplexes, and townhouses are also present in the housing stock. Around 40% of homes in this part of District of North Vancouver were constructed between 1960 and 1980, while the majority of the remaining buildings were constructed pre-1960 and in the 1980s.
