Part of the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, Burnaby Lake is a neighbourhood within Burnaby, British Columbia.


Driving is usually the best method to navigate Burnaby Lake. It is very easy to access a parking spot, and most of the street infrastructure is conducive to cars. In contrast, travelling by transit can be at times challenging in Burnaby Lake due to the service's low frequency. Nonetheless, homeowners have access to a few bus lines, and bus stops are typically close by. Cycling is difficult in Burnaby Lake because cyclists encounter a significant amount of hills, and the cycling infrastructure is not very comprehensive. Travelling on foot is also not very practical for residents in this part of Burnaby because most daily needs are occasionally difficult to carry out by walking.


There are no high schools and no primary schools in Burnaby Lake. Additionally, parents may find it difficult for their children to get to daycares on foot. In terms of eating, some, but not all, home buyers in Burnaby Lake will live within walking distance of the nearest supermarket.
