Regardless of the medium of transportation, it is straightforward to travel in Prince Rupert. Thanks to a few nearby bus lines, Prince Rupert is a fairly convenient part of Edmonton for moving around by public transit. A majority of the houses for sale in this neighbourhood are located in places that are also suitable for those who travel by foot; carrying out day-to-day needs is easy by walking. Getting around by bicycle is convenient in Prince Rupert as the cycling network is well-developed, and bike riders do not face serious elevation changes.


In this part of Edmonton, parents and their children will usually be able to reach both primary and secondary schools on foot. On the other hand, daycares are not very abundant and therefore may require a rather long walk to get to. Regarding food, a supermarket is usually reachable within a reasonably short walk from any location in this area. Moreover, Prince Rupert is a fairly good place in which to eat out or go to a cafe. Most of the housing growth in this area took place prior to the 1960s. This neighbourhood offers mainly three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes.
