The neighbourhood of Parkdale can be found in the city of Edmonton, Alberta, which is located in the Greater Edmonton metropolitan area.


Parkdale will please home buyers that appreciate several modes of transportation. Parkdale features a good public transit system by reason of a multitude of nearby rapid transit stations on the Route 512, and a few nearby bus lines. Parkdale will also appeal to physically active people as it is quite conducive to walking; running day-to-day errands is easy on foot, and a variety of businesses are nearby. This neighbourhood is quite conducive to bicycling because it is a flat ride to most destinations, and the bicycling infrastructure is very comprehensive.


It is usually an option for property owners in Parkdale to shop for general and specialty groceries on foot. In addition, there is often a restaurant or cafe just around the corner, for instance on 118th Avenue Northwest. It is also a rather short distance to a decent variety of clothing stores. As far as education is concerned, families will appreciate that no matter where their property is situated in Parkdale, primary schools and daycares are nearby. However, Parkdale does not have any high schools.
